### What is Agent Company?

Agent Company is a no-code platform for building AI employees: AI agents that do real work in Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, WhatsApp and online meetings. ### Do I need to know how to code to build an AI agent?

No. You describe the job in a guided wizard or start from a ready-made agent or team template, connect the apps it needs, and the agent is live. Developers can still extend it with custom HTTP connectors and MCP servers.

### Which AI models does Agent Company support?

You choose the model per agent. Agents run on a local Ollama model by default, which is free and keeps data on your own infrastructure. You can also bring your own OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) or Google Gemini API keys, or use managed inference on a paid plan.

### Which apps and tools can the agents use?

Built-in integrations cover Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, WhatsApp, and meeting capture for Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Agents can also search and read the web, look things up in your own knowledge bases, call any HTTP API through a custom connector, and use tools from any MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.

### Can several AI agents work together as a team?

Yes. A coordinator agent delegates work to specialist sub-agents and runs them in parallel, and a permission table controls exactly which agent may call which. A company-level orchestrator can route one task across several teams, and agents can hand work to each other or to a human as tasks.

### How do I stay in control of what the agents do?

Mark any tool as requiring approval and the agent prepares the action, then waits for you to approve or reject it from the app, Slack or WhatsApp. New agents start in a shadow mode where they ask before any action that changes something. You can pause or cancel a run at any time, and every action is logged.

### How are agents triggered?

Run an agent with a button, on a recurring schedule, from an incoming webhook, or from events such as a new Slack message, Gmail email or WhatsApp message. Agents can also pursue a goal over several iterations until it is met or a budget runs out.

### Is my data secure?

Each workspace is strictly isolated from every other one, connected-account credentials are encrypted at rest, and every agent action is written to an audit log. Running on a local model means prompts and data never leave your infrastructure.

### How much does Agent Company cost?

There is a free plan with no credit card required, and new accounts start with a 14-day trial of the Pro plan. Paid plans are billed monthly with usage-based limits. Running agents on a local Ollama model is always free.
